Megan Thee Stallion said she has ended her relationship with Klay Thompson.
In a statement, the rapper said the decision came after issues in the relationship, adding that “trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable” for her.
Her comments followed a post she shared on Instagram Stories earlier in the day, where she referenced “cheating” and described needing a break. While she did not name Thompson directly in the post, the two had been publicly linked for several months.
The pair first went public with their relationship in July 2025 and had since shared parts of their relationship online. Photos posted in recent months showed the two together at events and during trips, including a birthday celebration earlier this year.
Thompson also gave Megan a car as a birthday gift, and the two appeared together in several social media posts leading up to the recent announcement.
Earlier this year, Megan spoke about the relationship in an interview, describing it as one where she felt comfortable and did not expect it when it first began.
Following her recent posts, the relationship appears to have ended. Representatives for Thompson have not publicly responded to the comments.
Megan said she plans to take time for herself as she moves forward.
